How I started
FINDING MY WAY INTO EXERCISE
DIDN’T COME NATURALLY.
I’m Martin Bolha, a personal trainer from Židlochovice. I work with people in Židlochovice, Brno and online. I believe you can start without previous experience and that everyone needs a different starting point.
It took me years to get moving. Being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis was one of the important turning points. It became part of my personal story and encouraged me to take a greater interest in movement and my body.
That’s one reason I value starting without pressure to perform. You don’t need to be able to do a pull-up or already be fit. We can find a first step that makes sense for you right now.
What movement means to me
STRENGTH YOU
CAN USE.
What I enjoy about strength training and calisthenics is gradually discovering what the body can do. To me, strength also means greater control of movement and the chance to develop new skills.
I like combining weights, bodyweight exercises and functional movement. I value good technique, a suitable level of challenge and enjoyment in training. Progress can look different for everyone.
How I work with people
I LISTEN AND EXPLAIN HOW WE’LL WORK TOGETHER
I want you to understand why you’re doing each exercise and how it relates to your goal. We’ll find an approach and level of resistance that suit your current abilities.
I see training as a partnership. I ask about your experience, listen to your feedback and use it to adjust our next steps. I want you to feel more confident in your body and motivated to keep going.
My experience with plant-based food
MY OWN QUESTIONS
LED TO A GUIDE.
When I switched to a whole-food plant-based diet, I wondered how to combine it with strength training. I wanted to understand how to get enough protein and energy, and how to fit different food sources into everyday meals.
Those questions led me to put together a practical guide to plant-based protein and building muscle. My aim is to offer a clear starting point for people asking similar questions.
